THERMALBAD VITA CLASSICA IN BAD KROZINGEN
WELLNESS OASIS COUNTS ON RENEWABLE ENERGY

The water park Vita Classica in the spa town of Bad Krozingen (near Freiburg, Southwestern Germany) was subjected to a comprehensive energetic renovation. A key measure thereby was the construction of a nearly 200-square-meter solar system, which takes over a large part of the water heating now.
The field of 40 vacuum tube collectors type CPC 45 Star Azzurro produces an average of 12,000 liters of hot water a day. Thus between 50 and 80 percent of needs are covered.
The planning office "Solarvision Freiburg" had the leadership in this project, which not only reduces operating costs significantly and sustainably, but also avoids climate-friendly 35 tons of CO2 emissions every year.
